Tiny houses are not just for vacation homes anymore. People are truly liking the idea of having a mortgage free home and as a society we are moving away from "Keeping Up With the Joneses" and towards "Less is More". The tiny house movement is becoming more and more popular all across the country. The price range for a tiny house is any where from $2,000 to $50,000 depending on the base structure and how much work you do yourself. If you want your tiny house to be mobile then it would need to be built on a sturdy trailer. Many materials can be found for low cost on Craigslist or Home Improvement stores with overstock or slightly imperfect materials or even reclaimed materials from older homes. You just have to do some shopping around.
